This two-day course cover a wide range of outdoor activity related first aid subjects which will give you the confidence to deal with any emergency situations that may arise during your activity. The course is designed to meet the needs of those working away from immediate medical assistance and is ideal for (MLTA) (ML) (WML) (MIA) (MIC) (IML) climbing instructors (SPA), ski instructors (BASI), mountain guides (BMG), canoe and kayak instructors (BCU), mountain bike instructors (MIAS), Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) leaders and participants, mine and cave leaders, field assistants. It is also invaluable for anybody spending time in the outdoors and remote environment whether recreationally, voluntarily or work related. The course content contains a range of subjects including;

We possess the capability to conduct the course at your designated location, contingent upon a preliminary assessment of your premises. This approach serves to mitigate expenses associated with extended periods away from the workplace and travel. Alternatively, you may opt to participate in one of our scheduled courses hosted at our established venues.
A maximum of 12 candidates per course. The minimum age is 16.
A fully regulated FAA three-year Level 3 Award in Outdoor First Aid will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment.
Summative practical assessment is ongoing by the instructor each day, along with a written assessment on each day. No external assessors are required. A range of methods are used, including, practical and questioning (open and multiple-choice).
